Butte County Transportation Plan Survey

Butte County
Transportation Plan
Survey

Dear Residents:

The Butte County transportation plan is being conducted to improve and maintain the transportation facilities within Butte County. The planning process's overall purpose is to effectively understand, plan for, and implement improvements to the transportation facilities to meet the system and user needs over the next 10 years.

To fund the planning process, Butte County successfully applied for and received a transportation planning grant from the Local Highway Technical Assistance Council (LHTAC). With these funds, they have contracted with PARAGON Consulting, Inc., to complete the transportation study which is an update to the existing Butte County Master Transportation Plan. When completed, the transportation plan will provide the County with a current guide to plan for the County’s future transportation asset and maintenance needs while providing some recommendations for mitigating budget short falls for future projects.

To ensure the final plan meets Butte County residents' needs, we are requesting that you take a moment and share with us your thoughts on the existing condition of the roads and the service they provide. Please include your thoughts on what you believe the roads and transportation system for Butte County should provide in the future.

On behalf of Butte County, we appreciate your comments and interest in planning for continued improvements throughout the County.
