Pedestrian Improvements

Nampa High School, City of Nampa

The Pedestrian Improvements near Nampa High School Project was a federally funded 0.25-mile rehabilitation and frontage improvement project on Lake Lowell Ave. from S. Canyon Street to 12th Ave. North (SH 45). The project included a full depth roadway section, new crown grades to remedy the existing non-uniform and steep cross-slopes, a 10’ pedestrian pathway design, storm water collection/detention accommodations, new traffic flow design and curb layout for the Nampa High School parking lot, two full RRFB designs within the project limits, and numerous ADA pedestrian ramps adjacent to and accessing Nampa High School.
Paragon was also responsible for public involvement, coordination with local special interest groups, and conducting numerous meetings and discussions with School District Officials to ensure the design addressed the existing mobility issues while supporting the ultimate goals of Nampa High School and the Nampa School District.
